Military & Service Connections

As a military spouse, I have a deep understanding of the military lifestyle and the unique challenges that this can bring to individuals and families. My husband's current service in the RAF has provided me with profound insight into the needs of military families. I am skilled in assessment and treatment for a wide range of mental health difficulties including depression, PTSD, stress, low self-esteem and various anxiety disorders such as OCD and social anxiety. I draw upon Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) within my practice.

Alongside working as a clinical associate for Optimism, I also work as a senior CBT therapist and supervisor within NHS Talking Therapies.
